I'm not defending the thought that it's an escapee from Patuxent. If it was another species, maybe but I'm betting on natural vagrancy on this one.

Our friend came in again today at about 9 am, just like yesterday. According to reports and observation he was gone by noon yesterday. My neighbor had an idea that it could be an escapee from Patuxent River Wildlife, something that I never would have thought of. Bill called them and they are going to check to see if there are any missing birds.
