Hi All,
I enjoyed the lovely crisp spring morning last Sunday birding the McKeldin
Area of Patapsco Valley State Park, Howard Co. After a long hike through
the park I was torn whether to head up to Liberty Lake and look for the
reported Red-necked Grebes there, or instead hit the 695 beltway and try
finding my own up at the Loch Raven Reservoir. My decision to do the
latter proved wise, as I was rewarded by good looks through the scope of a
somewhat distant RED-NECKED GREBE amongst the many loons and Horned Grebes
out on the lake.
