Parke John and I went down to the Cecil County Dickcissels on Old Telegraph Road today. Many Grasshopper Sparrows, and of course, at least 3 Male Dickcissels singing on the wires and on the soybean stalks. It was a life bird for Parke. I like his comments of "its nice to get a life bird in the state you live in but even better to get it in the county you live in".
