Social Notes From All Over

Who was that your reporter saw today (11/6) with Jane Kostenko and Tyler Bell 
sneaking a look at the Common Crane?  Why it was Gail and Charlie Vaughn.  
Also holding court at the gala event were long-distance champion Paul Sykes 
and the ever dapper Larry Peavler, not to mention hundreds of birders and 
curiosity seekers, including an entire bus load of the latter.  Go figure!
