Peru Rainy Season

Folks,
I am contemplating a trip to the Peruvian Amazon (Tamshiyacu-Tahuayo
Reserve) in February, which I understand is the rainy season there. I
have been told that this means the lowlands will be flooded, and
explored by canoe rather than by foot, and that some things will be
easier to see (pink river dolphins) and others harder, but I am not
clear on how much the rain will interfere with daily excursions. Does
anyone out there have direct experience travelling there in the rainy
season? Please help! Thanks in advance.
