As the saying goes - you can do anything you want with your list! For me, I would
want MANY more details than apparent size at a significant distance. Size is one
of the trickiest things to gauge, especially against the sky, with no real
perspective. I would want to compare the flight patterns, I'd want to see most or
all of the definitive marks, and just be really sure I was on target. While
anything is possible, one usually enclunters goshawks late in the season - in fact
November is often the best time.
I think I would be MOST hesitant about putting Goshawk on my list based on the
time, and description presented here.
