This morning (3/16) there was a singing Pine Warbler in the woods on the south side of Lake Elkhorn. This is the earliest
I've seen spring migrant PIWA here. Also in the same area was one Yellow-rumped Warbler, Brown Creeper, Eastern Phoebe, and a pair of bluebirds. The meadowlark was singing from the top if a tree centered in an overgrown field along Snowden River Parkway just east of the Lincoln Technical School building.
