It took several hours before I got the lucky glimpse, but
the VIRGINIA'S WARBLER continued to be seen today at
Pickering Creek Audubon Center. I heard and saw it most
clearly in the vicinity of the first viewing platform as you
walk toward the ponds along the trail from the parking lot,
in the direction away from the visitor center. Five other
birders saw it at the same time. Full eBird report below.
Thanks to all for continuing to post about this amazing
bird!

Comments: A trip to Pickering in search of the Virginia's
Warbler. It took a while, but I (along with several other
nearby birders) got it. Tagged along with Wallace for a
while in the morning. Joe & I were among those who saw the
warbler later (12:25 pm). Sunny, windy, cool (warming up
later).

for about 30 seconds on 5 different perches before it could

yellow on chest, otherwise gray overall. I did not get a
good look at the eyering, but the behavior, other field

amazing continuing visitor. Life bird! (The bird was seen
earlier in the day on a least 2 occasions by other birders.)
