Nick Flanders asked me to post his 3/7 observation of the VIWA:

From Nick: "I saw the bird at 12:05 PM after hearing it chip a few times about 1 hour earlier and waiting it out.  All of my detections occurred in the field to the west of the path that leads south from parking lot, with my sighting also in a groundsel bush, close to the northern terminal of that path." 

Nick also had a Blue-winged Teal drake in one of the impoundments.
