I think Stanz is Jim Stasz. Or maybe a Stan Arnold/Jim Stasz hybrid ;)

Well,  he is gone again.  Nice guy named Stanz (think he was here when you were here yesterday, Dave) gave me a lesson on the living pattern of Sandhill cranes.  He was going to look for some geese flocks and see if he could find the crane.  He noted that the geese were gone, hence  the crane.  He felt that it was very unlikely that it came from Patuxent River Wildlife.  Will check on the field throughout the day and tomorrow morning.
