Harry Sears reports that the Northern Shrike was seen along Kibler Road just south of the intersection of Round Top Rd this afternoon (1/9/12). It was perched in the same tree that Maren Gimpel and I found it in back in 2008 (it's second winter in the area). Prior to this sighting most of the other sightings from this winter have been in the restored grasslands along Round Top Rd.
