I stopped by Bayside Development Pond yesterday afternoon after a meeting in OC and found a male Eurasion Wigeon in with the hundreds of Americans. Also had about a dozen each of Gadwall, Redhead, Coot, and a smattering of Ring-necked Ducks and Greater Scaup.

OC Inlet had hundreds of Brant, 3 White-winged and 1 Black Scoter, a couple Red-throated Loons, and 1 Purple Sandpiper with 2 Ruddy Turnstones. The viewing conditions at the inlet could not have been worse, with 20-30 mph winds making it almost impossible to hold anything in the scope view for more than a second.
