This afternoon there was a Snowy Egret at the Chesapeake Bay Environment
Center in Queen Anne's County. I see in eBird that David Palmer saw this
bird yesterday. This is one of the few winter records in eBird, and what
makes it even more remarkable is that it's away from the marshes of the
lower bay.
