Two male Dickcissels were feeding on the ground in a mixed flock of sparrows in the maintenance area and along the chainlink fence at the lower end of the golf course. They were very cooperative, allowing repeated close looks - all distinctive features were readily observed (and confirmed in multiple bird guides. The looming presence of a nearby RT Hawk, didn't seem to bother them or the other birds either, Sorry I didn't have a camera. Hope they stick around.
