Hi all,
Yesterday fellow birder Sarah Coccia and I went on a late-afternoon birding run. As could be expected, most of the storm birds were gone, but we had a good time nonetheless. We stopped at Tide Point to scan the harbor for any lingering rarities. We struck out, except on the terns where we got good looks at three species. The full list from that location is below.

Mallard 5
Double-crested Cormorant 50+
Osprey 7
Laughing Gull 4
Ring-billed Gull 45
Herring Gull 6
Great Black-backed Gull 3
Royal Tern 1
Forester's Tern 1
Common Tern 1
Purple Martin 4
Barn Swallow 1
Chimney Swift 5

We also went to Druid Hill Park and did some just for fun birding up there. It was by far the best birding of that day. Sarah had the best bird; a Pied-billed Grebe with at least 3 downy chicks on the lake. I got a decent picture of the group. The full list for Druid Hill is below.

Mallard 4
Pied-billed Grebe 4
Red-tailed Hawk 1
Tufted Titmouse 1
Carolina Chickadee 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 3
Magnolia Warbler 1
Northern Cardinal 2
Red-winged Blackbird 1
Common Grackle 6
House Finch 13

Good birding!
