Hi all,

We also had a Wilson's this afternoon -- saw this little yellow and
greenish bird fly by the window, obviously NOT a goldfinch -- went out and
he (it was a nice male with his little cap) was by the gazebo with some
titmice.

So I feel better about the "probable Wilson's" this morning, since there
sems to have been a little movement of them today. Obviously, NOT too
early!

Also, re the earthquake -- a friend said her African Gray Parrot went crazy
a
few moments before it hit, flying about and screeching.

Before this afternoon’s big surprise earthquake, I had a smaller
surprise this morning as a beautiful male Wilson’s Warbler appeared
in our small backyard here in Bethesda, a new yard bird for me.
