Just an FYI I had 3 Royal Terns at North Point SP in Baltimore this afternoon; Two birds could be scoped and IDd loafing on a concrete dock, north of the park, viewed best from the dock near the north parking area. They were sitting next to a Caspian Tern, and their non-breeding hoods were obvious... too far for an IDable photo. Later, I had a third adult Royal Tern catch what looked like a Menhaden or young Gizzard Shad out in front of me, viewed from the long peninsula. The shots are distant, but very IDable. I verified the other two were still loafing on the dock.
On another note, I checked various ponds and wetlands in Baltimore, AA, and Howard along the Patapsco, including Race RD wetlands, Southwest Area Park, and several ponds along the Patapsco (Pond 8 included) in hopes of a dispersed young heron or ibis, but came up short of anything but common species, Great Blue, Great Egret, and Green Heron;
.5 miles south of the North Point entrance there were 6 Cattle Egrets feeding at a field edge. They can be tough to see now in the growth.
