Weather:
On the mostly cloudy side; 70-75 degrees; fair visibility with fog/haze;
winds light and northeasterly, 0-6 mph
Raptor Observations:
Adult Mississippi Kite at 11:10 am daylight time. The kite flew in from
the south and continued on a direct path north and relatively low. Bald
Eagle was a juvenile.
Non-raptor Observations:
Orchard Oriole nest building

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
