Hi Jeff et al.,
I used to see worm-eating warblers on a regular basis in the woods around Greenbelt Homes, Inc. in Greenbelt (which, of course, is PG county). I have not walked those woods regularly in about 4 years so not sure if they are still there...and, I have seen BB cuckoos there twice.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Schoolhouse Pond WE Warbler - no; BB Cuckoo
I went to Schoolhouse Pond before work this morning to look for the WE Warbler that Fred found and posted yesterday, but I had not luck. This is a great County bird; I have yet to find one in PG! I had a nice consolation, a Black-billed Cuckoo. It was seen perched in a tree; I watched it at close range (30-40 feet) for about 6 minutes, and it seemed to be simply resting. It never vocalized, and never moved except to look around occasionally.
I had 41 species from 6:45-7:40, including 10 warblers. About half way through my walk, the weather changed very suddenly, from mostly sunny to 100% overcast. It was strange how quickly it changed, almost ominous, but bird activity was unaffected. The YT Warbler was easy to find and was singing for much of the time I was there. Besides the BBCU, other FOS birds included American Redstart (2; both singing), and YB Chat (1, also singing).
Cheers!
