Mostly cloudy, becoming partly cloudy; 48-62 degrees; poor to fair
visibility with haze; winds mostly light and northwesterly, 0-10 mph
Raptor Observations:
Flight picked up in the afternoon after the cloud cover decreased.
Unidentified accipiter was likely a Northern Goshawk based on flight
characteristics, but only side and oblique views and haze prevented full
confidence in the ID.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
