Spent a few hours birding Loch Raven Reservoir (Baltimore County), peninsula south of the Skeet and Trap Range. Some highlights:
Horned Grebe 9 (one in almost full breeding plumage)
Common Merganser 25 (not many left of the 640 counted last weekend, 03/05/2011)
Hooded Merganser 2
Red-breasted Merganser 1
Wood Duck 15
Mallard 60
Am Black Duck 8
Bufflehead 9
Ruddy Duck 3
Lesser Scaup 2
Osprey 1
Bald Eagle 2
Belted Kingfisher 1
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 1
Cedar Waxwing 7 
Eastern Bluebird 6
