HI all,
I left out one Cooper's Hawk on Route 43 in Baltimore County on way to Marshy Point on new Year Day with Alex Coffey & Jessica Gorzo.
Next day on the 2nd, I joined Stan Arnold to do Annapolis CBC and it was a slow day but we managed to see winter wren, 3 towhee, 5 field and 6 savannah sparrows at a old landfill (private). Along some roads N of Annapolis, we had 12 canvasback, 11 ruddy ducks, few flickers. After finished, we went down to Thomas Point to see waterfowl: 25 Tundra Swan,
8 Black Duck, 78 Mallard, 234 Canvasback, 2 Redhead, 3 Ring-necked Duck,
26 Greater & 9 Lesser Scaup, 1 Surf Scoter, 12 Long-tailed Duck, 57 Bufflehead, 86 Common Goldeneye and 1 Hooded Merganser. Also a flyby bald eagle and 2 flickers.
