Although I didn't have NEARLY what the Turkey Pointers had for the Big Sit on Sunday,
I did manage to find a first winter CONNECTICUT WARBLER this afternoon, 10/13, in the
woods to the left of where the road turns right toward the lighthouse.
Pat Valdata also logged her second NORTHERN GOSHAWK of the week at the hawkwatch.
Unfortunately, though I was in the park at the time, I was not looking up (drat!). Rumors
of Bicknell's Thrush and Black-capped Chickadee kept my eyes looking elsewhere.
