During a joint birdwalk of the MBC & Frederick Bird Club led by Mike
Welsh yesterday morning, a NELSON'S SPARROW was found by David Smith
in the reeds of one of the many ponds in the back of the area. While
getting closer to the bird David flushed a SORA.
Also of note: a total of 9 species of Sparrows, including LINCOLN,
SAVANNAH, WHITE-CROWNED, and GRASSHOPPER.
Fantastic birdwalk altogether.
Happy birding,
Evelyn
