Nice deal for those with $849 to spare. However, I would rather support an
organization like the Cape May Bird Observatory than Amazon. The folks at
CMBO told me that they don't charge for shipping if you buy optics from them
online.

An update ... OK, so it was a good deal.  The Lightning Deal at Amazon this 
morning was for Swarovski SLC Binocular 8x30 for $849.  They are $899 at 
Eagle Optics.  BTW, the Amazon Lightning Deal for the Swarovski's sold out 
in less than 23 minutes.
