This afternoon, 15 Sept, at 4:45 p.m., over 300 Canada Geese were
resting quietly on the water south of Little Pond Road. That water is the
beginning of a tributary of the Miles River.
Prior to today, the largest group of Canada Geese in the area
consisted of around 50 that were clearly summer residents of the county.
