A nice group of breeding birds this morning. A WILLOW FLYCATCHER down in the "wetlands" was a nice surprise. A number of BLUE GROSBEAK, CHATS, both ORIOLES and the expected field birds. FIELD, SONG and CHIPPING SPARROWS....
just a heads up that Nelson's STP are late migrants and my only spring record was June 1.
It was a great day for insects and fungus.....I found a harvestman (or woman) making? eating? and odd little crescent.....
