Just checked the shorebirds with Will McPhail at the reflecting pool
after a morning at rock creek park. We ran into the Bowens who were
already on the white-rumped sand in a flock consisting of 20 plus
peeps. Mostly least but several semiss. Were pleased to catch up with
the semi plover we missed yesterday. Spotties, solitaries, greater
yellowlegs were also around but no sigh of the stilt sand. A FOY
Willow Flycatcher was singing near the pond.
