Join the Montgomery Bird Club and Montgomery County Sierra Club for a beginner's bird walk (8 a.m.) followed by a tour of the former Oaks landfill (9:30 a.m.) on April 25th at the Blue Mash Nature Trail. We will get a rare opportunity to view birds and other wildlife on top of the landfill and nearby bodies of water. Long sleeves, pants, comfortable walking shoes or boots, hat, binoculars, telescopes, and water are recommended.

Meet at the Zion Road park entrance between Brookeville and Riggs Roads. Go north on Georgia Avenue through Olney and Brookeville. Make a left on Brookeville Road. Make a right on Zion Road. The park entrance is on the left 1/2 mile from Brookeville Road.
