I have long urged the MOS post the Maryland Birdlife (MB) archives 
on-line, via the web for the benefit of Maryland/DC birders and other 
researchers from around the country.

FYI ... the VSO archives of their journal, The Raven, are available 
here ... and they use the same PDF search engine as the Maryland 
Birdlife archives ....

The current MB archives CD (through the year 2000) are less than 
450MB in size and storage is pretty inexpensive these days ...
