Yes, spring is here.  I, too, like Bobbie, heard my first towhee of 
the season this morning in Bowie.  Turned the car around to make sure 
my ears weren't deceiving me.  The call was heard at the same spot 
that a pair was spotted last year.  They frequently visited my 
feeder.  What a nice yard bird.
