Apologies for the late post...

Arrived at Schoolhouse Pond, PG County, this morning around 8:45 to find a Peregrine Falcon winging his way across the pond and out of sight. Species #104 for me at this spot.

Lots of birds in the air everywhere, including gulls, geese and some passerines. A tremendous ruckus to the southwest preceded the arrival of about 500 Canada Geese who flew right over my head and landed noisily in the pond. No GWFG, but I did find one odd-looking bird with white barring on the back and side of its neck. A possible CAGO x Brant hybird?

Other highlights were two Song Sparrows singing in full spring mode and likely Laughing Gulls high overhead, although I did not clinch visual ID.

Lisa started her day early in Annapolis by finding a Cooper's Hawk in her headlights on the road, struggling with a not-yet-expired RW Blackbird.

Good Birding!
