Hello Everyone,

George Radcliffe is trying to distribute information on his summer program
for teachers and kids. In an effort to reach as large an audience as
possible, I'm passing his information on to you. Feel free to forward to
anyone you think might be interested.

Thanks,

Janet

Subject: MOS Educator and Student Summer Programs

Dear MOS members and friends,

The YMOS side of MOS is asking for your assistance in advertising 2 summer
programs. I made a futile attempt to do this via the MOS List Serve a while
ago; so I'm giving this a try.

I am attaching information about MOS educator and student summer programs,
Maryland Birds and Habitats. The programs will involve both classroom and
field work. Both programs are being offered concurrently at Washington
College and are sponsored both by the college and MOS. Educators can be
anyone working with youth either in a professional or volunteer capacity.
Participating students should be in grades 8 through 12 in the 2010-11
school year.

We are asking you to help us recruit the best educators and students for the
week long residential programs held from June 20 - 25 of this year. There is
scholarship money available for educators and some of the students. I'd like
to get an educator and student from each chapter, and I'm asking each
chapter to make this a priority. Chapter presidents or designated contacts
can keep me posted on your progress.

Application brochures for both programs are attached. Please get one into
the hands of any student or educator that you know and feel would benefit.
Additional information can be obtained from George Radcliffe, YMOS
Coordinator at

I'll be at the March 6 MOS meeting for anyone needing to talk to me in
person.

Thanks,

George Radcliffe
