Many of the sparrows seen last weekend at Schoolhouse Pond have apparently moved on (such as the Tree Sparrows & White-crowned Sparrow), but today there was a Brown Thrasher feeding directly on the boardwalk on what is left of the seed.  The last few days, I've seen only White-throated Sparrows, Song Sparrows, Juncos, and Cardinals feeding on the remaining seed, mostly directly under the boardwalk.

Also present this morning was one Wilson's Snipe on the ice and one male Hooded Merganser in the open water with the Canada Geese and Mallards.  Gulls have been largely restricted to flyover Ring-billed and Herring Gulls this week.  There have been no mid or large sized groups to sort through at lunchtime.  There were two Red-tailed Hawks soaring overhead yesterday around noon.
