I was out along the bay yesterday and saw a lot of birds out in the bay.  There were hundreds of birds in a large cluster. I have some rough video and pictures if interested.
 
The pictures are from my small digital camera but you can still see the large numbers of birds.  I would have loved to have been in a boat to get a better view.  
 
I noted several adult and immature Northern Gannets (I tried to count and estimated a safe 50).  Scoters were out as well.  Black, White-winged and Surf.  Lesser Scaup and Buffleheads were in close.  The time was around 3:30 so I will be out again to see if the activity is as good today.
