Anna Urciolo and I birded Lilypons on this perfect Fall morning - lovely fall colors on the trees/vegetation, cool temps, blue sky - a real treat to be out!
Highlights were a confiding Marsh Wren found in the impoundment at the back/left of the gazebo behind the main building; a shyer Lincoln's Sparrow further on that allowed one good look before diving back under cover; several juvenile White-crowned Sparrows, many colorful Swamp Sparrows, five-six Snipe zipping around, fly-over Black Ducks...
Anna continued birding after I left, so perhaps she can report additional finds (Nelson's Sparrow?)
Good birding all!
