Joy Bowen reported seeing 8 Common Nighthawks flying south when she 
was taking a walk along Ewing Drive between Greentree Rd. and Bradley 
Boulevard about 7:10 p.m. this evening, August 29.

By the time she had rousted me from my perch by the computer, the 
rain had started in earnest and there was nothing to see overhead,
