I'm resending my posting about the Brazil birding tour, as the embedded link did not copy correctly the first time.

The link should read:

Birding in Brazil: October 23 - November 2, 2009

Brazil is one of the world's great birding destinations. A very special tour
is planned this October for a small group of U.S. birders to visit Brazil's
Atlantic Rainforest, a unique ecosystem with high biodiversity and extremely
high endemism. Nearly 700 species of birds have been registered there, of
which almost 200 are endemic. The tour includes five days in the highlands
of the State of Rio de Janeiro, where we will be based at the beautiful
Guapi Assu Bird Lodge and hosted by Nicholas Locke, the owner of the REGUA
conservation reserve; on the sixth day we see the charming Golden Lion
Tamarins and do some birding on the way to Rio de Janeiro. In Rio, we will
visit the world's largest urban forest, visit Corcovado and other major
sights then enjoy an evening of music. The final three days we stay in the
charming colonial port town of Parati (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), our
base for birding nearby and in Ubatuba. At each place, expert bilingual
birders will guide us. For more information, please visit
