We saw "Up" this afternoon -- highly recommended for all adults -- and 
naturally I noticed the *bird art* stuck in the scrapbook being flipped 
through near the end of the movie: Alexander Wilson's engraving of a 
Carolina Parrot. Kudos to the animators! The movie also features a fanciful 
bird resembling a psychedelic Roadrunner (from the old cartoons) on 
steroids, and it hisses just like a Canada Goose.
