Location: Oxbow Lake
Observation date: 5/23/09
Notes: Jay Sheppard and I started at 5:00 a.m. at the Spring Road entrance
into Oxbow Lake and made our way to the main entrance at Oxbow Place 3 hours
later. Excellent looks at a WORM-EATING WARBLER. Both the WORM-EATING WARBLER
and the PINE WARBLER were singing at the same time for a nice comparison. Also,
1 Red Fox and 2 River Otters.
Note: If you go looking for the WORM-EATING WARBLER, it was found in the same area where I recently reported a Summer Tanager. You can search the archives for the directions.
