Hi All,

While nesting neotropical migrants in DC are decling, it was great to see a pair of Wood Thrushes nesting right by the creek.  The nest seemed to be built almost completely of dry leaves, with the mother sitting on the eggs for extended periods of time with the male nearby.  In the same area there seemed to be 2-4 other pairs in this lowland habitat.

Cheers!
