A non-typical stop by the house at lunchtime today (Thurs.) between work events turned out to be wet....and colorful.  Five male Rose-breasted Grosbeaks along with one female were quite the splash (pun intended).  Highlighting their presence was the small area all six birds were working - they might as well have all been on the same eye-level branch.  Quite enjoyable for these endless moist days.
