What a great way to start the day!

The X-bills were raining down pine cones for 1/2 an hour on me.  Got
lots of poor photos which I'll post later.  All female except for one
immature male.  What a show.

If you're planning on stopping by, let me know first.  This is my
neighbors yard across the street, and I'd like to remain a good
neighbor.

Incidentally, they chose not to feed on the hemlock trees caddy-corner
to my house, but on the giant pines directly across the street.
