Raptor Observations: A fine day this early in the season with nine species and a good showing of
buteos. First juvenile Bald Eagle thus far, likely a Florida-born bird.
Non-raptor Observations: Few other migrants today; Red-throated Loon

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at
the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best
winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays. |
