Here's an email from Marshall Iliff that will gladden the hearts of eBird users who might have been trying to retrieve their year lists for 2008 recently. Just make sure that when you select the county that you do so in the year column and not month as the changeable year drop down does not appear in the monthly totals.

Tyler and Bob (et al.),

We have just implemented a long-awaited fix in eBird. Previously it was
frustratingly impossible to see your year lists for a state or county in
eBird. In late December we finally (!) implemented a year selector that
allowed you to view a year list for previous years. Unforeseen, but obvious
in hindsight, that became moot when the year rolled over and one could not
view a list for a county where they had no data yet for the year. So, it is
now possible to view any list in eBird (even the ones with zero data). From
there, you can use the year selector to get to past years.

I know Bob Ringler was asking about this just the other day and I am pleased
to report that it just got fixed 30 minutes ago! Please pass this on to
MDOsprey if you feel it is relevant for other Marylanders.
