Hi all on the way home from a late afternoon errand in Centreville . I went down Rt 309 from Rt 213 just past the first Pond there was a flock of roughly 1,000 Snow Geese strung to the corner of Rolling Bridge Road. Light was not great and it was raining but many birds were feeding quite close to the roads and of course I had left my Camera home . But scanning with Bins Located a immature Ross's Goose at the front edge of the flock close to the corner of Rolling Bridge road and Rt 309 after Jim Stasz pointed out the general direction of were he had just seen it . Thanks Jim . Jim also Mentioned the Barrows Golden Eye at Cambridge . Guess I will have to try for that one tommorrow .
Happy Birding
