Happy New Year,

My girlfriend Colleen and I birded Dorchester County for a few hours today.
We spent a lot of time on the Cambridge waterfront but did not come up with
any rarities.  One Redhead was observed with the Canvasback flock and 100's
of Lesser Scaup were spread out across the Choptank.

Other highlights included,

24 White Pelicans were observed at Blackwater NWR.
One hen Ring-necked Pheasant on Hip Roof Rd.
One Cackling Goose and Ross' Goose seen in a Snow Goose flock along Rt 343
in Lloyds.
