Jerry,
I saw the Ash-throated Flycatcher yesterday 12/04 at 10:30 am on Coventry Parish Rd Somerset County. The bird was in the cemetery, perched on a tombstone, opposite Rehoboth Presbyterian Church. I saw it fly on both sides of the road and also land on the some low shrubs on the left side.
The Rusty Blackbird flock was still present with two Brewer's Blackbirds.
A Pine Warbler was on the ground.
I haven't seen any other reports, positive or negative, about the flycatcher.
I did point the flycatcher out to a local lady and she was going to tell her husband so he could try to photograph it.
No traffic on the Bay Bridge. It took me about 3 hours to Coventry Parish Rd Somerset County from Columbia, MD. Gas was $1.59 at the Wawa in Cambridge.
On Saturday Blackwater is having an open house so a lot of people could be there. The first section of the Wildlife Drive is closed for construction.
Goos birding,
Joe Hanfman

2 questions:
1) How bad are the delays getting over the Bay Bridge to and from the
Eastern Shore?
2) Is the Ash-throated Flycatcher still being seen? Any changes in location?
We may chase the Flycatcher tomorrow and/or go to Blackwater for the open
house.
Please reply off list. The whole world doesn't need to discuss this.
