I took an afternoon stroll around Western Regional Park this afternoon but didn't expect to see many birds. As I approached the back section a jogger (who apparently saw my bins) asked me if I was interested seeing the "hawk." After replying in the affirmative, he told me it was sitting on a sign right around the corner. The Peregrine Falcon flew soon after I started watching it but landed on a wood fence after flying about 100 yards. After watching it for about 5 minutes, I decided to go back to my car and get my camera. Unfortunately, by the time I returned it had departed and was not relocated.
