At 6:15-6:35 PM, I saw 16 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS soaring over my farm near
Patapsco Valley SP. They stayed up fairly high and initially flew to the SW
before disappearing to the north. North would seem to be the wrong direction
for fall migrants, so perhaps the nighthawks will turn around and fly back
this way again. 

I also saw a single nighthawk yesterday evening around 7:30 PM, but have not
seen a group fly over here since 2006.
